How to Import cPanel User to DirectAdmin

Cloud Servers 727 x 90
Follow These Steps to Import cPanel User to DirectAdmin

In order to start importing user from cPanel to DirectAdmin, download cPanel version of your choice and extract it.

Now create import as well as export directories to be used by the tool.

Now copy the user backups of cPanel and move them to import directory.

Edit the defaults.conf so that it can match the DirectAdmin server to which you will restore. The fields that have to be changed include name server and IP fields. If this is not done, the tool won’t work.

Run perl da.cpanel.import.pl and make sure you follow on-screen instructions.

Once the conversion is completed (or once every individual user is completed), start moving the new DirectAdmin user backups to any DirectAdmin /home/RESELLER/user_backups directory from export directory.

Now DirectAdmin user backups should be restored to reseller-level ‘Manage User Backups’ tool of Direct Admin.

That’s all and you have finished importing your cPanel user to the DirectAdmin.
