Follow These Steps to Change the Default Email Message That Is Sent When Someone Signs Up

You may change default email message that is sent when someone signs up by editing osCommerce configuration file. Since it is not possible to do this over admin backend in the easy way, the only way to do this by changing contents in the file “/includes/languages/english/create_account.php”. By default it will have the following definitions:

The lines above defines account welcome email and every line can be modified according to our needs. Once finished editing, apply the changes by saving the file. Then try to register in the website yourself or wait till someone will do it. Welcome email should be send with updated contents.
