Host1Plus Repositions in South American Market, Withdraws from Chile
The international hosting provider Host1Plus withdraws from Chile thus optimizes server performance in the region
In response of a growing demand for quality VPS hosting services in South America, Host1Plus has announced the company’s repositioning in the region in order to boost the quality of hosting services for local users.
Last month Host1Plus has notified the clients about its retrieval from Chile. All customers, using the servers in Santiago, Chile, were automatically transferred to a different data center, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. These steps were taken so as to merge two dynamic markets and optimize the services to increase service quality and availability for the customers.
Due to the transfer the latency has increased up to 20-30 miliseconds. However, this has no significant effect on loading times and the network speed has been highly improved. For those concerned, the IP addresses remained the same.
Andrius Kazlauskas, the co-founder and CEO of Host1Plus, claims that the above mentioned changes are made so as to improve the infrastructure and ensure immaculate performance for the clients in the region. “Due to the growing demand of VPS hosting services, we have decided to take this step and optimize our current infrastructure in South America” – he explains.
The transfer took part on December 22nd, 2014, 7:00 GMT. The transfer was fluent and successful, no disturbance or interruptions occurred.
